Thomas Robinson Missing in Navy Action in Pacific

Thomas V. Robinson of Waterloo, radioman third class in the navy, was reported missing in action in the Pacific sometime in the past two weeks, according to word received Saturday night by his wife, the former Muriel Flesher, now living in Chicago.

Formerly a teller at the National Bank of Waterloo, he is the son of Mrs. C, C.
Robinson, 515 Utica Street. A graduate of East High School, he entered the navy Sept 26, received training at Great Lakes, Ill., and the University of Wisconsin, Madison, Wis., and left for overseas duty in April.

His wife, whom he married a year ago in February is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. B. Flesher, 612 Independence Ave.

One day after the message was received, Sunday, his brother, Harold F., 1620 Cornwall Avenue, left for Camp Dodge, Ia., an enlistee in the army.

Another brother, William, lives at 402 Allen Street, and there are four sisters, Mrs. John A. Pickett, Oak Park, Ill.; Mrs. Edwin M. Stone, 746 Conger Street; Mrs. Robert
Miller, 1045 West Sixth street, and Mrs. James D. Smith, 315 Utica Street.

Services at Grace
Methodist Monday

Memorial services for Thomas V. Robinson, son of Mrs, C. C. Roblnson. 315 Utica Street, who was reported missing In action on Kiska in August. 1943, and officially declared dead in August, 1944, will be held Monday at 4 p. m, at Grace Methodist church. with Rev. H. W. Famham, pastor, officiating.

His wife, the former Muriel Flesher, now resides in Chicago.
