WATERLOO - Glenn Bass, 77, of Las Vegas, formerly of Waterloo, died at home Tuesday, July 29, 2014.

He was born May 1, 1937, in Waterloo, son of the late Guy and Martha Bass.

Glenn graduated from West High School in 1955. He worked for Rath Packing Co. until it closed in 1985 and later moved to Las Vegas where he worked as a bartender until he retired in 2008.

Survived by two sons, Dennis J. of Universal City, Texas, and Perry A. of Aurora, Colo.; a daughter, Marie (Bill) Tillman of Oelwein; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a brother, Harold (Rosie) of Waterloo; and a sister, Doris Herrmann of Albuquerque, N.M.

Memorial visitation: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday at his daughter's home at 102 Third Ave. N.W., Oelwein.
