WATERLOO - Rebecca Ann Kirsteatter, 78, of Waterloo, died at home Friday, July 25, 2014 of natural causes.

She was born Sept. 20, 1935, in Ottawa, Ill., daughter of James E. and Laura E. Irish Young. She married Harry C. Kirsteatter on June 19, 1958, in Alamogordo, N.M.; he died May 10, 1991.

Rebecca worked for Pacific Bell for many years, retiring in 1987.

Survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Jerold E. and Lonie W. “Duke” Young; and a sister, Nancy Greene.

Services: 11 a.m. Monday at St. Patrick Catholic Church, with visitation from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, both in Cedar Falls. Burial will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Troy Grove Cemetery, Troy Grove, Ill.
