WATERLOO - Theresa M. Hohlfeld Sloan, 85, of Mountain Home, Ark., formerly of Waterloo, died Tuesday, July 15, 2014, at Baxter Regional Medical Center, Mountain Home.

She was born Oct. 6, 1928, in Hastings, Neb., son of George and Helen Barta Janda. She married Kenneth Sloan in August 1992 in Mountain Home.

Theresa was a retired department head secretary for the University of Northern Iowa.

Survived by her husband; four daughters, Christine Heth of Des Moines, Cynthia Marsh of Cedar Rapids, Connie (Jim) Molbeck of Racine, Wis., and Cheri Doctor of Waterloo; a stepdaughter, Susan Sloan of San Luis Obispo, Calif.; three stepsons, Steve (Frances) Sloan of Des Moines, Robert (Lisa) Sloan of Seattle and David (Cindy) Sloan of Houston; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her parents, a brother and a sister.

Memorial services will be announced at a later date. Arrangements by Roller Funeral Home, Mountain Home.
