WATERLOO - Patricia Eileen Tippery, 84, of Waterloo, died Monday, July 14, 2014, at Covenant Medical Center.

She was born June 21, 1930, in Le Mars, daughter of Vern and Molley Nicholson Keough. She married Jack Welch in 1949, and they later divorced. She married Jim Tippery in Feburary 1975; he died Sept. 1, 2011.

Patricia graduated from Sioux City Heelan High School in 1949. She was employed as a bridal consultant at Black’s Department Store and was a homemaker.

Survived by a son, John “J.P.” Welch of Waterloo; two grandchildren, Nicole (Joel) Tribelhorn of Loveland, Colo., and Ryan Welch of Denver, Colo.; a sister, Kathleen DeJager of Sarasota, Fla.; and a sister-in-law, Winnie Keough of Chicago.

Preceded in death by a grandson, Scott Welch; three brothers, Richard, Randall and Clyde Keough; and a sister, Dorothy Aller.

Memorial services: 1 p.m. Friday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway, with inurnment at a later date.
