CEDAR FALLS - Alice Ida Reints, 85, of Cedar Falls, died Sunday, July 13, 2014, at UnityPoint Health-Allen Hospital, Waterloo.

She was born Feb. 13, 1929, in Cedar Falls, daughter of Henry and Anna Minikus Morris. She married Kenneth Reints on April 13, 1946, in Cedar Falls; he died Oct. 18, 2013.

Alice was a waitress at Black Hawk Restaurant and later a cook at the Cedar Falls Western Home.

Survived by a son, James (Denise) of Waverly; two daughters, Janice (Terry) Olsson of Mankato, Minn., and Lonna (Rob Boots) Flugge of Waterloo; seven grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three stepgreat-grandchildren; two great-great-grandsons; a brother, James (Jean) Morris of Bristow; and a sister, Artie Colvin of Traer.

Preceded in death by her parents.

Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday at First Christian Church, with burial in Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens, both in Cedar Falls. Visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, and for an hour before services Wednesday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to the church, UnityPoint Hospice or the American Heart Association.
