WATERLOO - Marjorie C. Bockhaus, 86, of Waterloo, died Monday, June 18, 2007, at her home of cancer.

She was born Sept. 29, 1920, in Greene, daughter of Frank and Josie Anderson Bowman. She married Robert Keller, and they were later divorced. She then married Clarence Bockhaus in Cedar Rapids. He preceded her in death Oct. 18, 1994.

Mrs. Bockhaus was employed at several businesses in Waterloo and retired in 1979 with a medical retirement from St. Francis Hospital after 15 years in the business office. She was a charter member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.

Survived by two daughters, Barbara (Larry) Lamfers and Brenda (Chuck) Corwin, both of Waterloo; three grandchildren, Brent (Lila) Keller of San Diego, Michelle (Jim) Williams of Waterloo and Chris Corwin of Iowa City; and two great-grandchildren, Kalli Corwin and Gabriel Keller.

Preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Terry Keller; a grandson, Brian Keller; two sisters, Bessie Heddens and an infant sister; and three brothers, Lester, Francis and one brother in infancy.

Services: 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, with burial in the Garden of Memories Cemetery. Public visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball, and for an hour before services Thursday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
