WATERLOO - Eleanor K. Koch, 67, of Waterloo, died Friday, Sept. 23, 2005, at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home.

She was born Sept. 15, 1938, in Iowa City, daughter of William and June Olson OBrien. She married August Koch on April 22, 1961, in Cosgrove.

She worked as a financial counselor with Covenant Medical Center for 26 years, retiring in 2000.

Survived by her husband; her mother, June OBrien of Iowa City; two sons, Albert and Andrew, both of Waterloo; two daughters, Lisa (Jerry) Travis of Waterloo and Dianne Koch (Keith Zimmerman) of Evansdale; six grandchildren; two brothers, Dale (Shirley) OBrien of Iowa City and Joe OBrien of Solon; and four sisters, Marilyn (Frank) Palmer of Winser, Mo., Karen (Brian) Lemming of Las Vegas, Cheryl (Randy) Stevens of Iowa City and Karleen (Steve) Mammel of Cedar Rapids.

Preceded in death by her father; a brother, Darryl; and two sisters, Audrey and Barbara.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway, and for an hour before services Tuesday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to the family.
