WATERLOO - Betty J. Oleson, 80, of Waterloo, died Thursday, Sept. 22, 2005, at Allen Hospital.

She was born Jan. 10, 1925, in Waterloo, daughter of Martin and Bessie Pierce Hagen. She married Vernon Oleson on June 12, 1948, in Cedar Falls. He preceded her in death Jan. 1, 1975.

Survived by a daughter, Debra J. (Charles) Harrison of Wellsburg; five grandsons; four great-grandchildren; a brother, William Hagen of Waterloo; and a sister, Gwen Venter of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by two sons, William "Ole" and Larry.

Services: 1 p.m. Monday at the Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball, with burial in the Garden of Memories Cemetery. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until service time Monday at the funeral home.
