Paul Glen Allee, 71, of Shirley, Arkansas, formerly of Cedar Falls and Belle Plaine, died September 22, 2005, after a lengthy battle with cancer.

Born October 21, 1933, in Belle Plaine, he was the son of Ora McKinley Allee and Dora Belle Miller Allee. In 1953 he married Mary Jane Gould and raised their three children, Debbie, Randy and Cindy. On November 1, 1997, he married Donna Decker Davis whom he retired with to their home in Shirley, Arkansas.

Mr. Allee served in the U.S. Army from 1954 to 1956 and served some time stationed in Korea. He worked for the Iowa Department of Transportation until 1968. At that time he moved his family to Cedar Falls where he became the general manager of Aerie Services, Inc. In 1973 he became the sole owner and remained as such until his retirement in 1988. Paul stayed active in the aerial mapping business even after retirement, forming Paul G. Allee and Associates. He spent many community service hours as an active member of the Vintage Car and Flying Fez Units of the El Kahir Temple. During his latter years, he was a member of the Fairfield Bay Methodist Church in Shirley, Arkansas. He will be greatly missed by all.

He is survived by his wife, Donna; three children, Debbie (Craig) Ziemer of Waterloo, Randy (Pamela) of Muscatine and Cindy (Timothy Sr.) Perry of Richmond, Virginia; three stepchildren, Kim (Tammy) Davis, Shan (Bonita) of Cedar Falls, Lori, and David of Gentry, AR; six grandchildren; nine stepgrandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four stepgreat-grandchildren; and a brother, Bob (Millie) of Mount Pleasant.

He was preceded in death by his parents and five siblings, Gordon, Clell, Claire, Leo and Olive "SIS" Hadenfeldt.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, September 26, 2005, at Hrabak Funeral Home in Belle Plaine. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home, where there will be a 7 p.m. Masonic service. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery with military rites by Jennings-Bradshaw American Legion Post 39 of Belle Plaine. Casket bearers include Justin Allee, Shane Davis, Nick Davis, Ryan Larrabee, Brent Griffin and Mike Meagan. Minister will be the Rev. David Crow of Christ United Methodist Church, and organist will be Jane Hrabak.
