CEDAR FALLS - Mark S. Youngblut, 58, of Cedar Falls, died at home Tuesday, June 24, 2014.

He was born Sept. 16, 1955, in Waterloo, son of Harold and Jean Porter Youngblut. He married Deanna Wood, and they later divorced.

Mark was an automobile sales representative for various automobile dealerships in the Waterloo area.

Survived by a son, Matt (Kari) of Raymond; three stepgrandchildren; his parents of Waterloo; three sisters, Michelle Lindquist, Miann (Jim) Scheppele and Mendy Youngblut, all of Waterloo; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street, with inurnment in Mount Olivet Cemetery, both in Waterloo. Visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday and for an hour before services on Saturday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be directed to the family.

Mark’s love and compassion to his dog, Charlie, was an amazing, steadfast story. His dog was by his side, even at the end.
