DUNKERTON - Jason A. Reynolds, 42, of Vancouver, Wash., formerly of Dunkerton, died Thursday, June 12, 2014, due to a semi-tractor accident near Yamhill, Ore.

He was born Sept. 26, 1971, in Waterloo, son of Craig and Melody Hedeman Reynolds. He graduated from Jesup High School in 1991 and later graduated from Kirkwood Community College, Cedar Rapids, with a Semi Transportation Diploma. Jason was a self-employed truck driver and helped the family with farming throughout the years.

Survived by a sister, Carrie Weidman, and a nephew, Braxten Weidman, both of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by his parents; maternal grandparents, Leighton and Carol Hedeman; and paternal grandparents, D.W. “Bill” and Alice Reynolds.

Graveside services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Mount Vernon Township Cemetery (corner of Mount Vernon and Wagner roads) followed by a Celebration of Life gathering at 11:30 a.m. at Dunkerton Community Hall, Dunkerton. Locke Funeral Home, Waterloo, is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials in lieu of flowers, may be directed to the family.
