WATERLOO - Mary Jane Cameron, 83, of Waterloo, died Monday, June 16, 2014, at Ravenwood Nursing and Rehab Center.

She was born July 14, 1930, in Jordon, Minn., daughter of Carl and Julia Rogers Kochlin. She married Henry Kaleas on Aug. 19, 1958, in Northwood; he died March 8, 1993. She married Daryl Cameron on Feb. 14, 2000, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Waterloo.

Mary was employed as a dietary aide at Walnut Court for the Western Home, retiring in 1998.

Survived by her husband; a son, Jerry (Peggy) Kaleas of Denver; a daughter, Karla Thompson of Waterloo; two grandchildren, Gabe (Dee) Thompson and Justin Kaleas; a great-granddaughter, Alexis Thompson; and a brother, Friar Lester Kochlin OFM of Alton, Ill.

Preceded in death by her parents; and two grandchildren, Brian Kaleas and Jarrod Kaleas.

Memorial services: 10 a.m. Friday at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, with inurnment in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street, with a 4 p.m. Legion of Mary rosary and 7 p.m. vigil service. Visitation also an hour before services Friday at the church.
