DUNKERTON - Patricia Hilmer, 87, of Belvidere, Ill., formerly of Dunkerton, died Thursday, June 12, 2014.

She was born June 9, 1927, in Grand Meadow, Minn., daughter of Thomas and Olivia Michaelsen. She married Stanley Hilmer in 1950; he preceded her in death.

Pat was employed as a bookkeeper for over 20 years, while also assisting with the family farming. In 1965 she became the Dunkerton School Board Secretary until retiring in 1998.

Survived by a daughter, Patrice (Dave) Sheridan of Belvidere; three grandchildren, Chris Dally of Waterloo, and Jennifer and Megan Dally, both of Belvidere; and two sisters, Violet Olson of Stewartville, Minn., and Rebecca Bunne of Leroy, Minn.

Preceded in death by her parents and three sisters.

Services: 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Francis (Barclay) Catholic Church, 7837 E. Airline Highway, Dunkerton, with burial in the church cemetery. Neptune Society of Illinois is assisting the family.
