Funeral services were Monday in San Jose, Calif., for Ralph E. Lesser, 67, former Waterloo resident who died Saturday in San Jose of an apparent heart attack.

Mr. Lesser had made his home in San Jose for the past six years after retiring from 30 years employment at the Rath Packing Co. Mr. Lesser was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Richway, Pa. He was also a veteran of World War I.

Surviving are his widow, Hazel E. Lesser, a daughter, Mrs. Glenda McDonald and two grandsons of San Jose, and one brother, Russell, of New York.

Military services were conducted at Oak Hill Cemetery, San Jose.
