ELK RUN HEIGHTS - Richard “Rich” Wyant II, 46, of Elk Run Heights, died Sunday, June 1, 2014, at UnityPoint Health - Allen Hospital, Waterloo.

He was born Aug. 27, 1967, in Waterloo, son of Richard and Nancy Marovets Wyant.

Rich owned and operated R Wyant Flooring in Elk Run Heights.

Survived by his fiancé, Tina Smith of Elk Run Heights; a son, Richard Wyant III of Elk Run Heights; a daughter, LeAnn Bartlett of Evansdale; his mother of Kellerton; a sister, Tina (Scott) Bonorden of Cedar Falls; a brother, David of Waterloo; his maternal grandmother, Myrtha Marovets of Waterloo; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his father; maternal grandfather, Leo Marovets; and paternal grandparents, Roy and Iola Wyant.

Memorial services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Garden View Chapel, Waterloo, preceded by an hour of visitation.
