Ella "Edie" McNamara, 56, of Waterloo, formerly of Grundy Center, died Friday, May 30, 2014, at her daughter’s home in Grundy Center while under the care of Cedar Valley Hospice.

She was born July 28, 1957, in Compton, Calif., daughter of Norman and Dawn Pike McCormack. She married Larry McNamara on June 22, 1979, at the Little Brown Church, Nashua; they later divorced.

She was raised in California for several years before moving to Waterloo and later relocated to Grundy Center.

Survived by three daughters, Dawn Reagan (Ryan Stahl) of Oelwein and Sarah McNamara (Donny Fairbanks) and Cindi McNamara (Dustin Schroeder), both of Grundy Center; her companion of 20-plus years, Tony Klemz; stepchildren, Brooke Klemz and Braden and Lindsey Fintel; nine grandchildren, Talon, Madelyn and Lauren Reagan, Abena, Brody, Jesse, Carter and Nevaeh Mackie and Somara Wolf; five brothers, Russell Rosenberg, Danny McCormack, Gregg McCormack, Kevin "Archie" McCormack and Dean Staton.

Preceded in death by her parents; and a special friend, Cindy Kerns.

Services: Gathering of friends and family will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Engelkes-Abels Funeral Home, Grundy Center.
