CEDAR FALLS - Margaret M. Burns, 93, formerly of Prairie City, died Friday, Dec. 30, 2005, at Western Home Communities, Cedar Falls.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 3, at Prairie City United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Eddyville. Visitation for Mrs. Burns will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 2, at Coburn Funeral Home, Prairie City. There will be an Eastern Star service beginning at 7:45 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the Western Home Communities.

Those left to honor her memory are her children, Fred Burns and his wife, Carol Sue, of Oran, and Bob Burns and his wife, Natalie, of LeMars; three grandchildren, Rick Burns and his wife, Lori, of Lee's Summit, Mo., Dennis Burns and his wife, Julie, of Janesville and Norma Jean Orton and her husband, Corey, of LeMars. Also surviving are two foster grandchildren, Lorann Stout and Betty Schnieder, as well as six great-grandchildren, Michelle, Matthew, Brett, Bryce, Andy and Katie.

Preceding her in death were her parents and husband in 1984.
