WATERLOO - Michael John Clute, 66, of Waterloo, died Tuesday, May 20, 2014, at Ravenwood Nursing and Rehab Center.

He was born June 29, 1947, in Waterloo, son of Verne and Helen Carras Clute.

Michael graduated with a master’s degree from the University of Northern Iowa, Cedar Falls.

Survived by a brother, Stephen (Joan Taylor) of Dunedin, Fla.; and a sister, Kathleen Marie Clute-Dean of Clearwater, Fla.

Memorial services: 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Edward’s Catholic Church, preceded by an hour of visitation, with inurnment in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street is assisting the family.
