WATERLOO - Roger C. Neebel, 75, of Waterloo, died Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2005, at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home.

He was born Aug. 26, 1930, in Waterloo, son of Roscoe and Elizabeth Reints Neebel. He married Marilyn Jean Paine, and they later divorced. He later married Diane Headington on March 4, 1988, at the Little Brown Church, Nashua.

Mr. Neebel was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He owned and operated Roger Neebel Construction for many years.

Survivors include his wife; a stepson, Mike (Deb) Paine of Reinbeck; two stepgrandchildren, Andy and Laura Paine; two brothers, James (Dorothy) of Waterloo and Richard (Norma) of Boise, Idaho; and two sisters, Virginia Merrill and Elizabeth "Babe" Kelly, both of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Roscoe "Bob" and William Neebel.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday at Trinity American Lutheran Church, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Full graveside military rites will be conducted by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1623 and American Legion Post 138. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway and for an hour before services Friday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice.
