Irving W. Butenhoff, 84, died in Parkview Gardens Care Center in Waterloo.

He was born June 14, 1895 in Minnesota to John W. and Bessie Wright Butenhoff.

He married Edna Roberts June 10, 1925 in Waterloo. He worked for the Illinois Central Railroad for 22 years.

Survivors include his wife and a brother, Jack of Des Moines.

Burial was in Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery.
