Mrs. Laura Butenhoff, wife of John Butenhoff, died at 10:45 o'clock last night at the family residence, 1809 Commercial Street, following a lingering illness of several weeks.

Mrs. Butenhoff was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Childers, and was born May 17, 1875, in Richland County, Wis. When three years of age she moved with her parents to North McGregor, Ia., and eight years ago came to this city. She was a member of First Baptist Church, and also affiliated with the Tribe of Ben Hur, Melchoir court, No. 8.

The deceased is survived by her mother, husband and several children.

Funeral services will to held Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the Walnut Street Baptist Church in charge of Rev. L. C. Moore. Tho remains may be viewed at the family home Thursday evening and Friday morning. Interment will take place in Elmwood Cemetery.
