WATERLOO - Patricia L. Perry, 86, of Oelwein, formerly of Waterloo, died Tuesday, May 13, 2014, at Grandview Health Care Center, Oelwein.

She was born March 16, 1928, in Oelwein, daughter of Lawrence and Letha Damon Kerns. She married Leland D. Perry on Feb. 24, 1949, in Waterloo; he died July 17, 2003.

Survived by two daughters, Mary Stevens of Cedar Falls and Leeann Fain of Waterloo; seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Dick (Joanie) Kerns of Waterloo; and five sisters, Dorothy (Jim) Wilson of Waterloo, Susan Kerns and Karen (Freddie) Perkins, both of Denison, Texas, Yvonne Brown of Hazleton and Joyce (Terry) Bowden of Oelwein.

Preceded in death by two brothers, Eugene and Jerry Kerns; and two sisters, Colleen Hamilton and Joan Gutknecht.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday at Faith Wesleyan Church, Cedar Falls, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery, Waterloo. Visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway, and for an hour before services on Friday at the church.
