WATERLOO - Lana Maree Gage, 58, of 153 Bertch Ave., died Saturday, April 2, 2005, at Covenant Medical Center from injuries received in an automobile accident.

She was born Oct. 8, 1946, in Waterloo, daughter of Charles P. and Wilma Weigle Sergeant. She married Larry L. Gage in 1966 in Waterloo, and they were later divorced.

Mrs. Gage graduated from Waterloo West High School in 1965. She attended Gates Business College and received her bachelors degree from Upper Iowa University in social work and psychology. She was a para-educator with special needs students at Cresthaven, Orange and West High, then received her teaching certificate and taught special needs students at West High School.

Survivors include three daughters, Tina and Kara Gage, both of Waterloo, and Amy (Aaron) Gage Mishler of Viroqua, Wash.; three grandchildren, Emily Gage, Gage Walter and Aden Gage; and a brother, Ed Sergeant of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Chuck and Doug Sergeant.

Services: 3 p.m. Thursday at Westminster Presbyterian Church, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Locke Funeral Home.

Memorial fund will be established.
