CEDAR FALLS, IOWA - Kristin Sierra Hunter Fish, 26, of Coralville, formerly of Cedar Falls, died Wednesday, May 7, 2014.

She was born Feb. 23, 1988, in Waterloo, Iowa, the daughter of Vernon Fish and Pamela Hunter.

Kristin went to lower elementary school in Cedar Falls and was a 2006 graduate of City High in Iowa City. She then went on to graduate from Kirkwood Community College in 2008 with an associate's degree and also attended the University of Iowa.

Survived by her mother of Coralville; her father of Waterloo; her grandmother, Virginia Hunter of Colfax; and her aunts, uncles and cousins.

Preceded in death by her grandpa, Harold Hunter; and grandparents, Keith and Marjorie Fish.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Lensing Funeral Home, 605 Kirkwood Ave., Iowa City.

Memorials in lieu of flowers, may be directed to Cedar Bend Humane Society, 1166 W. Airline Highway, Waterloo 50703.

Kristin was a caring person who truly cherished her family. She greatly enjoyed her times spent with her grandma Virginia and grandpa Harold. Kristin had a profound love of animals, especially her dogs Kruger and Hera.
