WATERLOO - Kathryn I. Corwin, 91, of Waterloo, died at home on Thursday, May 8, 2014 of natural causes.

She was born Dec. 28, 1922, in Waterloo, daughter of William and Josephine Jacobs Ferguson. She married Walter Corwin on May 15, 1955, at the Little Brown Church, Nashua. He died Jan. 23, 1989.

Kathryn graduated from East High School in 1940, and worked at Rath Packing Co. for 29 years in the trim department.

Survived by two daughters, Becky (Stan) Hackett and Deb (Steve) Johnson both of Waterloo; eight grandchildren, Allyson Armstrong, Andrea Pettit, Mike Hackett, Michelle Card, Heather Johnson, Jennifer (Johnson) Foster, Melissa Mattear and Matthew Johnson; 15 great-grandchildren; and 19 great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Carole Bouska of Costa Mesa, Calif., and Marge Speicher of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra Woodard Avery; a granddaughter, Angela Brandt; three brothers, Glen, Roger and Bob Ferguson; and two sisters Ruby Rasmusson and Betty Reeves.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Grace Reformed Church with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Locke Funeral Home.

Memorials may be directed to Grace Reformed Church or Cedar Valley Hospice.
