LA PORTE CITY - Floyd L. Perry, 90, of La Porte City, died at home Friday, Feb. 18, 2005.

Services 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Paul's Presbyterian Church, Washburn, with burial in West View Cemetery, La Porte City; visitation 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball, 233-3146, Waterloo, and for an hour before services Wednesday at the church; memorials to the church.

Miss Dorothy L. Stephens chose as her wedding date June 3, the 47th wedding anniversary of her mother, Mrs. Lena L. Stephens, 232 Edwards street, and her father, the late Ellis H. Stephens.

Miss Stephens became the bride of Floyd L. Perry, Downing Avenue, at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon in Westminster Presbyterian Church. Rev. Harry Moore officiated at the single ring ceremony. Mrs. Moore accompanied Miss Mary Stephens, the bride's sister, who sang "Always" (Berlin) and "I Love You Truly" (Bond). Miss Stephens had a corsage of yellow roses.
