Lonnie Rae Greve, 57, of Gladbrook, died Sunday, April 8, 2007, at Covenant Medical Center, Waterloo, of cancer.

She was born Nov. 29, 1949, in Waterloo, daughter of John Gerald and Mildred Louise Holmes Diehm. On Sept. 12, 1970, she married Roger Lee Greve at Grace Methodist Church in Waterloo.

Mrs. Greve graduated from Waterloo West High School in 1968 and from Pitzie's School of Cosmetology in 1969. She worked as a cosmetologist at her own shop; was an office manager at Hi-Tech Communications; a photographer at Herff Jones and Sears; and most recently worked for Dillard#'s department store

Survivors include her husband; a son, Eric (Cindy) of Cedar Rapids; two daughters, Nicole Greve-Clayton of McCallsburg and Robin Greve (Matt Moore) of Cedar Rapids; her mother of Waterloo; two sisters, Missy (Jack) Stabenow of Waterloo and Sharron (Marty) Krebs of Camarillo, Calif.; and a brother, Curt (Nancy) Diehm of Dubuque.

Preceded in death by her father; maternal grandparents, Owen "Slim" and Pauline Holmes; and paternal grandparents, Fred and Clara Diehm.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Amity Presbyterian Church, rural Reinbeck. Public visitation from 1 to 9 p.m. today at French Hand Funeral Home, Reinbeck, with a 7 p.m. Order of the Eastern Star service and a White Shrine service, and with family present from 5 to 9 p.m.

A memorial fund has been established.
