WATERLOO - Irving O. Kienzle, 76, of Waterloo, died Monday, April 9, 2007 at Allen Hospital.

He was born Oct. 14, 1930, in Kidder County, N.D., son of Simon and Bertha Job Kienzle. He married Ruth Teske on Dec. 23, 1955, in Bismarck, N.D.

Mr. Kienzle served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was manager of the Peavey Seed Co., and later owned the Green Circle Seed Co., Cedar Falls, retiring in 1993.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Kim (Robert) Sasse of Fairbank and Terry (Craig) Sage of Waterloo; six grandchildren; and a brother, Helmer (Lorraina) Kienzle of Big Fork, Mont.

Preceded in death by a sister, Adeline Johnson; and two brothers, Don and Leo.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Graveside military rites will be conducted by Becker-Chapman American Legion Post 138 and VFW Post 1623. Public visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday and an hour before services Friday at the chapel.
