WATERLOO - Larry L. Dralle, 76, of Waterloo, died Sunday, April 27, 2014, at Covenant Medical Center.

He was born on Nov. 9, 1937, in Allison, son of John and Anna Arjes Dralle. He married Maria “Mary Lou” Gonzales on July 4, 1981, in Cedar Falls.

Larry attended the one-room schoolhouse near Allison and worked in construction as a heavy equipment operator for Young Plumbing.

Survived by his wife; three sons, Dino (Melissa) Nelson of Adkins, Texas, Devrin (Cindy) Nelson of Marion and Rick (Trisha) Gautney of Evansdale; six grandchildren, Devonie and Desarae Nelson, Colton and Caley Nelson, Garrick and Jocelyn Gautney; and three sisters, Shirley Saeugling of Dubuque, Bette (Bob) Ferriss of Cedar Falls and Sharon (Ron) Karnes of Hastings, Neb.

Preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Dale (in infancy) and Roger; a sister, Wanda Heselroad; and a nephew, Blain Stickley.

Services: 11 a.m. Saturday at Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories, an Overton Family Service, with burial with military rites in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Visitation from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
