WATERLOO - Wilma Ann Schweer, 95, of Broomfield, Colo., formerly of Waterloo and Cedar Falls, died Saturday, Nov. 15, 2009, at Elmshaven Rehab, Thornton, Colo.
She was born Aug. 14, 1914, in Black Hawk County, daughter of Henry and Louise Moehler Schutte. She married Walter Schweer in 1935 in Klinger. He preceded her in death.
Mrs. Schweer was a waitress at Freeman’s Cafe.
Survived by two daughters, VeLoyce (Jim) Schmidt of Santa Barbara, Calif., and Ardith (Bill) Gardner of Broomfield; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by four brothers, Rueben, Floyd, Raymond and Hank Schutte; and two sisters, Esther Matthias and Frances Ralston.
Services: 11 a.m. Friday at Risen Savior Lutheran Church, Broomfield, with burial in Hemet, Calif., at a later date.

She was born Aug. 14, 1914, in Klinger. She married Walter Schweer in 1935 and resided in Waterloo and Cedar Heights until 1977, when they moved to Hemet, Calif.
She worked at Hinson Manufacturing Co., Black's Department Store, the Log Cabin Inn and before retirement worked 25 years as a waitress and hostess at Freeman's Cafe.
She continues to enjoy her family, VeLoyce and Jim Schmidt, who reside in Santa Barbara, and visits from Ardith and Bill Gardner, living in Colorado. She has seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
She continues to keep active playing bingo and bridge, daily exercising and host of other activities provided by Friendship Manor.
