HUDSON - Larry A. "Hair" Wrage, 50, of Hudson, died Sunday, July 24, 2005, at Covenant Medical Center, Waterloo, following a sudden illness.
He was born June 14, 1955, in Waterloo, son of Allen and Dorothy Wood Wrage.
Mr. Wrage graduated from Hudson High School in 1974. He worked at Porta Vet for two years and then later for Goodwill Enterprises for 25-plus years, where he was a supervisor/dock foreman. He was a member of Community Church of Hudson.
Survivors include his father and stepmother, Allen and Judy Wrage of Waterloo; a sister, Nancy Jo (Kent) Quin of Hudson; four brothers, Marty J. (Diane) of Cherokee, Chris W. (Kristy) and Patrick D. (Michelle, both of Hudson, and Daniel L. (Darlys) of Rock Falls, Ill.; three stepbrothers, Rod (Lori), Roger (Darla) and Robert (Teresa) Smith; two stepsisters, Roxanne (Leonard) Thompson and Robben (Jim) Wilson; nieces and nephews, Angelic, Gregory, Jean, Sarah, Scott, Amanda, Amber, Chelsey, Claire, Camryn, Austin and Connor; five great-nieces, Elizabeth, Katy, Lucy, Laney and Abigail; and many special friends.
Preceded in death by his mother; and an infant brother, Cary.
Services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Community Church of Hudson, with burial in Hudson Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Locke Funeral Home, Waterloo.
