WATERLOO - Ione I. Hibben, 98, of Ridgeway Place, died Tuesday, Aug. 1, 2006, at Allen Hospital.

She was born Nov. 5, 1907, in Waterloo, daughter of Harry A. and Matilda C. Graff Brown. She married Russell E. Hibben Nov. 7, 1927, in Waterloo. He died July 21, 1962.

She worked at Rath Packing Co. during World War II and at Logan School Bakery after her husband died.

Survived by three sons, Russell (Leona) of Dubuque, Jim (Joan) of Deltona, Fla., and Ron (Linda) of Cedar Falls; 17 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and 17 great-great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by two sons, Bruce and Robert; a grandson; a great-great-grandson; three brothers, Gilbert, Lloyd and Clyde Brown; and two sisters, Ruth Thompson and Maxine Thompson.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday at Locke Funeral Home, with burial in the Garden of Memories Cemetery. Public visitation from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

A memorial fund will be established.
