WATERLOO - Herbert A. Goode, 64, of 242 Hogle St., died Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2006, at Covenant Medical Center of complications from cancer.

He was born Dec. 16, 1941, in West Union, son of Lowell A. and Betty Lou Miller Goode.

Survived by three brothers, Richard (Juanita) Hockey and James (Joanna) Hockey, both of Waterloo, and John (Gloria) Hockey of Washburn; and two sisters, Mary (Tom) O'Connor of Waterloo and Barbara Spore of Minnesota.

Preceded in death by his father; his mother; his stepfather, Jacob Hockey; and two brothers, Donald Hockey and David Hockey.

Services: 1 p.m. Saturday at Locke Funeral Home, with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Locke Funeral Home.
