MATTHIESEN, FUOSS

[Waterloo Daily Courier, Sunday, August 31, 1941, Waterloo, Iowa]

Hans F. Matthiesen, about 75. retired farmer, 431 Oak Avenue, died unexpectedly in Omaha, Neb., Saturday while on the way back to Waterloo after a trip to the west. Mrs. Matthiesen was with her husband at the time. The couple had been visitingone of her relatives in Twin Falls, Ida., and had been gone from Waterloo about three weeks.

Survivors include a brother, Will Dysart, Ia. Matthiesen had lived in Waterloo for many years and formerly farmed near Dysart.

The body was to arrive this morning at the Kistner funeral home.
