WATERLOO - Henry Irwin "Hank" Molinaro, 47, of Waterloo, died Monday, May 16, 2005.

He was born Jan. 9, 1958, in Waterloo, son of Robert and Mary Ellen Warren Molinaro. He attended Columbus High School, the University of Northern Colorado at Greeley, Creighton University, and the University of Florida. He had a passion for golf and music. He also was a writer and poet.

Survivors include a daughter, Nichole of Cedar Falls; his parents of Waterloo; two sisters, Frances Rose Molinaro of Lakewood, Colo., and Mary Robin (Bryan) Molinaro-Blonigan of Waterloo; aunts and uncles, Dr. Al (Marilyn) Molinaro of Wausau, Wis., Edith (Bill) Hibbard of Milwaukee, Wis., Gene (Carolyn) Molinaro of Racine, Wis., Tony (Kathy) Molinaro of Slinger, Wis., Donna (Vern) Nelson, John (Sandy) Warren and George (Mary Ellen) Warren, all of Waterloo, and Deborah (Michael) Kennedy of Las Vegas; and his godparents, the late Warren "Smokey" and Elaine Cunningham of Cedar Falls.

Preceded in death by paternal and maternal grandparents, Henry and Rose Molinaro and Irwin and Frances Warren. (He died on the same day as Irwin).

Services: noon Friday at St. Edward Catholic Church, with burial in Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at the Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, with a 5 p.m. rosary and a 7 p.m. Scripture service. Visitation also for an hour before services Friday at the church.

Memorials may be made to Black Hawk-Grundy County Mental Health Center, NAMI of Black Hawk County, Columbus High School, the Catholic Worker House or Pathways.
