Word has been received here, of the death of Sally Ann Amble, 64, a former Waterloo resident who died Wednesday in Marion, Ill., where she had lived for the last four years. Services will be Friday at Wilson Funeral Home in Marion, with burial in Marion.

She was born Sally Ann Vergoth Sept. 17, 1909, in Duluth, Minn.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert K. Amble, whom she married 45 years ago.

Surviving are three sons, Gilbert K. Jr., of Memphis, Tenn, Bruce R. of Carterville, Ill., and Brayer of New Albin; two sisters, Millie Hilburn of Houston, Tex., and Barbara Mulvey of California; and a brother, Alvin Vergoth of Houston, Tex.

Mr. and Mrs. Amble managed the Independent Specialty Co., in Waterloo for many years.
