Services for Mrs. Alice E. Heman, 81, of 225 Highland Blvd., will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. There will be a 7:30 p.m. rosary service Friday at Oppold Funeral Home. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Friday.

She died at 2:30 a.m. Thursday at Americana Nursing Home.

She was born June 19, 1893, daughter of Sylvester and Margaret Murphy Van Vliet of Vail. She married John Heman in 1934, and he preceded her in death in 1956. She taught in the Dunkerton and Washington public school systems

Survivors include a stepson, Ralph Heman, of Cleveland, Ohio, two stepdaughers, Mrs. Anne Salzbrenner of Cleveland. Ohio, and Mrs. Dorothy Keiffer of Ogden: and four sisters: Sister Rose Van Vliet of Sacred Heart Church, Mrs. Harold Myers of 1504½ W. Fourth St., Mrs. Ruth Lauster of Greenbush, Mich., and Mrs. Eva Lewis of Los Angeles, Calif.
