Funeral services for Roland L. Fairall, 71, formerly of Waterloo, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the O'keefe and Towne Funeral Home with burial in Fairview Cemetery.

Mr Fairall died in Philadelphia of a heart attack Tuesday.

Born in Waterloo, May 26, 1903, son of Harold and Mary Ellen Cunningham Fairall, he married Helen Lemper, Aug. 8, 1931, in Philadelphia.

A graduate of the University of Iowa, Mr. Fairall was employed at the Philadelphia Inquirer for 44 years.

Survivors include his wife of Philadelphia, and three sisters, Mrs. Erma Germaine, 313 W. 11th St., Mrs. Gene Prugh of Beaumont, Tex., Mrs. Lorraine Neal of Lake Charles, La.
