WATERLOO - Eleanor June Droste, 81, of Waterloo, died Saturday, March 31, 2007, at Ravenwood Nursing and Rehab Center, following a brief illness.

She was born July 6, 1925, in Omaha, Neb., daughter of Gerald "GW" and Freida Rehm Graham. She married LaVern N. "Red" Droste on May 20, 1944, in Waterloo.

Mrs. Droste graduated from Waterloo East High School in 1943. She worked at Rath Packing Co. and was co-owner with her husband of Woodland Terrace Mobile Home Park and The Sound Room/Red's CB.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Rich (Pam) and Steve (Roxy), both of Waterloo; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; longtime business partner, Dave Graham; a sister, Doris Dietz of Waterloo; and a brother, Robert (Sharon) Graham of California.

Preceded in death by three brothers, Donald, Kenneth and Eugene Graham.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Grace Baptist Church, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Public visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Locke Funeral Home, and for an hour before services Wednesday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to Amenity Hospice.
