WATERLOO - Floyd J. Harms, 66, of Waterloo, died Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2005, at Ravenwood Nursing and Rehab Center of natural causes.

He was born May 22, 1939, in Ventura, son of Floyd and Ruth Nelson Harms Sr. He married Wilma Oudekerk in July 1958 in Britt.

He graduated from Mason City High School in 1957 and worked as a U.S. mail carrier, retiring after 43 years of service.

Survived by his wife; a son, Kevin of Waterloo; a daughter, Julie (Vincent) Moye of Reinbeck; six grandchildren; and two sisters, Judy (John) Huff of Mason City and Donna (Roger) Bertelsen of Thornton.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday at Christ Lutheran Church, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery, Mason City. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories, an Overton Family Service, and for an hour before services Friday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to Amenity Hospice or Christ Lutheran Church.
