Glenn C. Schneck, 55, of 2120 W. 6th St., died of a heart attack at 3 p.m. Sunday.
He was born on Aug. 4, 1909 in Waterloo, the son of Charles and Florence Schneck. He was a supervisor in the inspection department at the John Deere Waterloo Tractor Works for the past 35 years.
Mr. Schneck married Mildred Morse on Sept. 14, 1935 in Waterloo. He was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. He belonged to the board of deacons of the church and was a past member of the board of trustees.
Mr. Schneck was a member of Waterloo Lodge No. 624, AF&AM. He was a member of the John Deere Supervisors Club and was active in Boy Scout work.
Surviving are his widow, two sons, Jon, at home; and James, a student of Highlands University of New Mexico; one brother, Edward of 1505 W. 5th St.; his father, Charles Schneck of 225 Witry St.; and his mother, Mrs. Florence Merrill of 233 Witry Street.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Westminster Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Earl Huebner, associate pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Waterloo Cemetery. Friends may call at the Parrott & Wood Funeral Home from noon Tuesday until 11:45 a.m. Wednesday.
