In Loving Memory of Elesa C. Holmes

Elesa was born February 20, 1899 in Monticello, Iowa the daughter of Carl A. and Anna (Hams) Schatz. She married A. Jay Holmes on September 15, 1923 at the "Little Brown Church" in Nashua, Iowa. He preceded her in death on August 3, 1967. She died Friday, July 29, 1994 at Sartori Memorial Hospital in Cedar Falls, Iowa at the age of 95.

Elsea is survived by two daughters, Lola Holmes, Cedar Falls, Iowa and June Bentz, Clinton, Iowa; three grandchildren: David Bentz, Burnsville, Minnesota, Barbara Bentz, Tulsa, Oklahome, and Joan Bentz, Edina, Minnesota; three great-grandsons, Bryan Bentz, Kyle Bentz, and Troy Bentz, all of Burnsville, Minnesota, and several nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; three brothers, August, Harm, and Carl Schatz; and four sisters, Mayme, Dora, Anna, and Clara.
