WATERLOO - Danny R. "Dan" Gerholdt, 56, of Rochester, Minn., formerly of Waterloo, died Sunday, Aug. 28, 2005, at St. Marys Hospital, Rochester, of natural causes.

He was born April 13, 1949, in Waterloo, son of Lester and Lola Cain Gerholdt. He had worked in sales at the Toyota car dealership in Burnsville, Minn.

Survived by his mother of Raymond; a son, Erik (Rebecca) of Hixson, Tenn.; two grandsons; five sisters, Sandra (Gene) Walker and Rebecca (Larry) Stansberry, both of Evansdale, Janice (Randy) Dray of Grenada, Miss., Janet Reicherts of Dysart and Theresa (John) Freese of Raymond.

Preceded in death by his father.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Pauls United Methodist Church, with burial in the Garden of Memories Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball, and for an hour before services Thursday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to the family.
