WATERLOO - Raymond Richard Voshell, 84, of Waterloo, died Wednesday, March 19, 2014, at Cedar Valley Hospice Home of cancer.

He was born March 29, 1929, in Arlington, son of Clancey and Virginia Nothrup Voshell. He married Mildred Fox on Dec. 23, 1950, in Arlington.

Raymond attended school in Arlington. He worked at United Beverage for 31 years, and Packers Inn for over 20 years.

Survived by his wife; three sons, Rick and Randy John, both of Waterloo, and Scott (Lou Ann) of Denver; a daughter, Kris Deleon; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Leon of Cedar Falls and Lester of Pratt, Kan.; and a sister, Lorna Peterman of Waldorf.

Preceded in death by his parents; six brothers, Delbert, Duane, Lyle, Larry, Darrell and Boyd; and two sisters, Maxine Voshell and Violet Nielsen.

Services: 11 a.m. Monday at Wadena Community Church, with burial in Wadena Cemetery. Visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories, an Overton Family Service.

Memorials may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice Home.
