WATERLOO - Linn E. Azbill, 64, of Waterloo, died at home Tuesday, March 18, 2014.

He was born May 10, 1949, in Waterloo, son of Linn and Virginia Mussett Azbill. He married Penny S. Turner on April 28, 1979, in Waterloo.

Linn graduated from Waterloo East High School in 1967, and received his associate's degree from Hawkeye Community College and his bachelor's degree from University of Northern Iowa, Cedar Falls. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War. He drove semi-trucks for 28 years for Warren Transport, Zephyr Transport and Elliott Brothers.

Survived by his wife; four sons, Chad W. (Anita) Wolf of Cedar Falls, Asa L. and Ethan (Brandie) Azbill, both of Waterloo, and William (Anne) Azbill of Waverly; seven grandchildren; three brothers, Lowell (Melody) of Cedar Rapids, and Greg (Debbie) and Scott, both of Waterloo; and a sister, Toni Hoeppner of Waverly.

Preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Tammy Azbill; a brother, Billy; and a grandson.

Services: 11 a.m. Monday at Locke Funeral Home, with military rites by Waterloo AMVETS Post 19, Evansdale AMVETS Post 31 and U.S. Navy Funeral Honors Detail. Visitation from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Locke Funeral Home.
