WATERLOO - Barbara Kay Spore, 62, of Waterloo, died at home Monday, March 17, 2014.

She was born March 29, 1951, in Waterloo, daughter of Jacob L. and Betty L. Miller Hockey. She married Steven Spore on May 16, 1970, and they later divorced.

Survived by three sons, Steven “Robbie” of Minnesota, Mickey of Oelwein and Brian of Mankato, Minn.; five grandchildren; three brothers, Richard (Juanita) and James (Joanna) Hockey, both of Waterloo, and John (Gloria) Hockey of Washburn; and a sister, Mary (Tom) O’Connor of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by her parents; and three brothers, Donald and David Hockey, and Herbert Goode.

Family-directed Celebration of Life: 1 p.m. Friday at Linden United Methodist Church, Waterloo. There will be no visitation, her body has been cremated. Kearns Funeral Service Kimball Chapel is assisting the family.
