WATERLOO - Betty Graybill, 70, of Waterloo, died Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2005, at her home.

She was born Sept. 21, 1934, in Iowa City, daughter of Herman and Jennie Harrenstein Boike. She married Virgil C. Graybill March 19, 1953, in Kirksville, Mo. He preceded her in death Sept. 2, 2003.

Survived by two sons, Vance (Cindy) of Jay, Okla., and Troy (Debbie) of Waterloo; two daughters, Jennie (Mike) Miller of Jesup and Amy Morehouse of Waterloo; six grandchildren, Jeremiah Graybill, Amanda Graybill, Jason Graybill, Bryan Graybill, Linsey Morehouse and Jordan Graybill; a brother, Norman (Greta) Boike of Waterloo; and a sister, Evelyn (Robert) Brecunier of Cedar Falls.

Preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two brothers, Roger and Russell Boike; and a sister, Carol McGrane.

The family will receive friends from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday at 524 Main St., Jesup.

Memorials may be directed to the Cedar Valley Hospice, Cedar Bend Humane Society or the family.
