Funeral arrangements are pending at the Locke Funeral Home for Mrs. Max Guyer. 72. of 641 Newton St.. who died at 1 a. m. Thursday at Schoitz Memorial Hospital of
a heart attack.

She was born Sophia Christenson on May 17, 1901. at Waubay, S. D., the daughter of Chris and Helga Christenson.

She was married to Max N. Guyer on July 30, 1923 in Waterloo. She was a member of the Burton Avenue Baptist Church.

Surviving are her husband; two sisters, Mrs. Clara Hobus of Aberdeen, S. D., Mrs. Teresa Waumstead of Palma. Idaho; one brother, John Christenson of Waubay, S. D.; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, two brothers and one son.

Friends may call at the Locke Funeral Home after noon Friday.
