WATERLOO - Jed Alan McCarty, 46, of Waterloo, died Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2005, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, of natural causes.

He was born June 17, 1959, in Waterloo, son of Donald and Donna Boldt McCarty.

Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Donna and Donald Troutwine of Waterloo; three brothers, Ross (Greta) of Urbandale, and Ronald and Chad, both of Cedar Falls; and a sister, Rhonda (Joe) Rivoire of LaPorte City.

Preceded in death by his father, maternal grandparents, Henry and Edith Boldt; and paternal grandparents, Nelson McCarty and Dona McCarty Smith.

Private memorial services will be Friday at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball.

Memorials may be directed to the Cedar Valley Community Support Services.
